New Interviews from RSRL Event!

April 27, 2016 — “Why Bryce Dallas Howard Can’t Stop Texting ‘Jurassic World’ Director Colin Trevorrow”

“I text him every day, pretty much, with messages like, ‘OK, what are you doing now? What are you writing now?'” she laughs while standing on the red carpet at the MPTF’s recent Reel Stories, Real Lives event.

But about that 2017 start date, Howard jokes that it’s still too far away. “I cannot believe it’s a year away, but everyone is like, ‘Oh that’s soon,’ and I’m like, ‘No! That’s too long!'” she says. “I’m very excited to do it again and get the family back together again.”

Rumor Roundup + new video

Bryce’s full story video at the Reel Stories, Real Lives event from April 7, 2016 has finally been released. Check it out below ↓

There have been a few ramblings on social media over the past month or so that Bryce will be a guest speaker at the NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts commencement salute on May 20, 2016. However, the main NYU commencement is May 18, 2016. I’m fairly certain that Bryce will be speaking at one on these.

The NYU Commencement ceremony for 2016 is scheduled for May 18, 2016 in the morning. Our Tisch Salute to the Class of 2016 will be held at Radio City Music Hall on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 11:00am-1:00pm. (Tisch Salute)

On Wednesday, May 18, the NYU community will join together to celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2016 at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York. (NYU Commencement)

Actress Michaela Coel recently spoke in an interview that she has a small part in Black Mirror and it will air in November. Netflix traditionally airs an entire season all at once, so it’s a good guess that Bryce’s episode will air then as well.

“I did a tiny bit in Black Mirror, the one that’s coming on Netflix in November, and I had the time of my life,” Coel told at the Bafta TV Awards nominees party.

New Project: The Swans Of Fifth Avenue

It was just announced today that Bryce will produce and star in a new limited series called “The Swans Of Fifth Avenue” for  RatPac Entertainment! The Swans of Fifth Avenue is written by Melanie Benjamin and was published in January by Ballantine Bantam Dell. It is already in its fifth printing and has made the New York Times best seller list.

“I am someone who has carried an endless fascination for The Swans with me since I was a teen so naturally I devoured The Swans Of Fifth Avenue overnight,” Howard said. “Melanie has brought this iconic time to life: the rarefied, scandalous, extravagant high-society world and the dazzling and mysterious women at the center of it all. This story is as full of pathos as it is entertaining. I am exhilarated to have the opportunity to bring Melanie’s book to life along with Brett, John, and the whole team at RatPac. We have long hoped to partner on a project, but I never dreamt that it could be this much of a personal wish fulfillment!”

“Bryce Dallas Howard tipped us off to this incredible book and we were immediately blown away by Melanie’s salacious characters and stories,” Ratner said. “We are fortunate to be working with such a talented actress such as Bryce.”

Interviews from Reel Stories, Real Lives

April 8, 2016

“It’s not charity, it’s a community. This is all about community building and finding a way to support one another through the difficult moments, through illnesses (and) aging, upsets, changes in the economy,” she said.

The 35-year-old is set to begin filming the sequel to box office smash “Jurassic World,” due for release in 2018, and said she was expecting the film to be “awesome, from everything I’ve heard so far.”

“Of course, it’s a work in progress. We’re all so damn excited to get back together again next year,” she added.

Howard handled Alex, a Jeremy Doner-penned story about Alex Aguilar Jr. He has served as the secretary and treasurer of studio utility employees union Local 724. During the writer’s strike of 2007-2008, Aguilar and his family were on the verge of losing their home. The MPTF helped bridge the gap, which made the difference “between falling apart and getting by,” Howard noted. “It’s not charity, it’s a community.”
